What’s New

ZED SDK 3.0 introduces ZED Sensor Viewer, a new tool to display the sensor data of the ZED 2. ZED Depth Viewer adds the LiDAR mode view, the Confidence 50 view and the Texture Confidence slider, and adapts its minimum depth range to the available GPU memory.

  • Added an automatic adjustment of the minimum depth distance when the GPU has less than 3 GB of memory.

ZED Sensor Viewer

  • Fixed the unresponsive GUI when a ZED camera was connected.

ZED Calibration

  • Fixed the IMU calibration with --cimu on Windows.

ZED Depth Viewer

  • Added a new LiDAR mode view. LiDAR mode will be available in the API in ZED SDK 3.1.
  • Added a new Confidence 50 view. It displays sparser but more confident depth maps.
  • Added a new Texture Confidence slider. It lets you remove untextured areas such as the sky or white walls from the depth map.
  • The minimum distance setting is now saved, and loaded when the tool is restarted.

ZED Sensor Viewer

  • Added the new ZED Sensor Viewer tool, which displays accelerometer, gyroscope, barometer, magnetometer and temperature sensor charts for ZED 2.

ZED World

  • Updated the ZED World AR demo to support ZED 2 and ZED SDK 3.0.
