NVIDIA® Jetson™ L4T and JetPack Support

The JetPack SDK is a comprehensive solution from NVIDIA® to provide the Jetson™ embedded boards with an Operation System (Linux for Tegra) derived from Ubuntu, CUDA-X accelerated libraries, and APIs for Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Accelerated Computing, and Multimedia.

When speaking about software compatibility sometimes we find information about the supported version of SDK and sometimes about the supported Operating System, known as Linux for Tegra (L4T) or recently Jetson™ Linux.

However, it is not easy to know the link between the Jetpack version and the relative version of L4T that it makes available, NVIDIA® does not follow a fixed rule to define it, and sometimes the same Jetpack SDK version can install different L4T versions.

The following table provides an easy way to link each Jetpack version to the correspondent L4T release, plus much other useful information.

All the JetPack versions are supported by the ZED SDK, starting from JetPack 2.1 and ZED SDK v1.0.
