High Precision Localization.

High precision 3D positioning can be achieved by fusing localization data from several ZED X cameras and global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) using the latest ZED SDK.

Obstacle Detection. Anywhere.

With the ZED SDK, combine depth and visual odometry to build an occupancy map of the robot environment, allowing for safe navigation, in both indoor and outdoor unstructured environments.

Multi-Camera Synchronization and Fusion

Synchronize up to 4x ZED X cameras on Jetson AGX Orin using hardware triggers. With the ZED SDK, fuse point clouds and odometry from multiple cameras into a single source of data.

Built for Nvidia Jetson.

Capture low latency stereo video and depth with NVIDIA Jetson Orin and an add-on GMSL2 capture card. You can also use a carrier board who already has a GMSL2 deserializer on board.

Accelerating the development of autonomous machines.

Robots are machines that need to sense, decide, and act. ZED X equips your autonomous vehicle with the necessary tools for successful deployment.

Flexible Configuration

The ZED X camera comes in two form factors for different applications. The ZED X Mini has been designed for short range applications such as automation and picking. The ZED X camera is ideal for local obstacle detection and navigation.

Frequently Asked Questions

The ZED X must be connected to an NVIDIA Jetson system, which requires a specific capture card to deserialize the video signal coming from the camera. We will provide our own capture card by March 2023 and will soon announce a list of compatible capture cards from other vendors.

Yes, we will provide drivers for 2-camera and 4-camera configurations. For any other configurations, we will provide support documentation.

The ZED X camera is compatible with the new NVIDIA Jetson Orin platform (developer kit only for now.)

Yes, the ZED SDK is compatible with the ZED X camera. If you have already developed an application for a ZED, ZED 2 or ZED 2i camera, it will be still working with the ZED X with some minor modifications that we will soon share in our documentation.

Your choice should be based on the minimum depth range required for your application. If depth sensing is necessary below 50cm, you should select the ZED X Mini.
