Overview

A Video Event is a video recording associated to metadata stored in one or several json. The video and its description are accessible in the Video Event panel In ZED Hub interface.

An video event is defined by an application and can therefore be of any type. Here are some examples:

  • Intrusion : an application can record a Video Event when someone enter a forbidden area
  • Social distance : Video Event when people are too close to each other
  • Unexpected behavior : Video Event when your application detects something went wrong. You can therefore a visual confirmation of the issue.

Visualization

These events will be visible in the Video Event Panel :

You can click on it. You have access to the video and the stored data of the event. You have access to a longer video than the exact event duration (you can watch a few seconds before and after the event). The blue line indicates which part of the video is associated to the event.
